MARK
HALLETT - Tutor
At the age of 20, Mark played the part of Dean
in “Chasing The Dragon” with The Contact Youth Theatre, where a casting director
spotted him and offered him a theatre tour for a year. When Mark finished
touring, Paul Abbott (who was writing for Coronation Street at the time)
arranged an audition for Mark as Nick Norbury, the hospital porter.
Since then, Mark has appeared in various programmes including Emmerdale, Cold Feet, Outlaws, Cracker, The Royal, No Angels and Anatomy of Crime, to name but a few. However, his most recognised role to date was when he returned to Coronation Street as the cheeky butcher boy Boris.
Mark has also had a lot of experience in commercials, having appeared in adverts for Budweiser, Littlewoods, McDonalds, Engage Finance, Woman’s Own and most recent of all, Kellogg’s Nutri-grain.
